The St. John School District is seeking qualified applicants for two long-term certificated substitute teaching positions in Title 1/Lap and Grade Three. The Elementary Title 1/LAP position will start on January 23, 2023, and will run through June 9th. The third grade position has a projected start date of March 24, 2023, extending tentatively through June 9, 2023. The positions will remain open until filled. There will only be one middle school boys basketball game today in Colton. Varsity and junior varsity will combine with game time at 4:30 PM.
St. John building is all clear! Staff are able to return to the building kids are able to get their things till 6 pm. Main door will be unlocked until then.
St. John Winter Concert for Preschool will be Thursday, December 15th at 9 AM in the Preschool Classroom. St. John Winter Concert for K-3 will be Friday, December 16th at 9 AM in the main gym. K-3 can still wear pajamas to the concert. Performances will be recorded for those who cannot make it. Thank You for your understanding.
All HS/MS sports practice are canceled tonight, the St. John holiday program will be rescheduled more information will follow.
Parents can pick up kids from the community building until end of day and busses will run at normal times on all routes.
As a precautionary measure Avista has advised the St John building be evacuated due to a gas leak. The students are being moved to the St John Community building. Parents will be able to pick students up from the community hall once everyone is accounted for. More information will follow.
