Joint Statement
To the Community and Staff of St. John School:
Last monday the St. John Board and the St. John Administration met in closed session. The tone of this conversation was positive and optimistic for the district. The St. John Board and the St. John Administration are moving forward as a unified team. Our goal has and always will be to serve the students and patrons of the St. John Community. We have faced challenges in the past as a district and we will face challenges in the days ahead but our commitment to each other and the school is to always make the students our number one priority. We are asking that the staff and community partner with us in making this a positive culture for our students where they can learn and grow. If you have questions or concerns, please know our doors are always open.
Sincerely,
Mark Jacobson St. John Superintendent
Zachary J Bailey SJE Cooperative Director of Finance/HR
John Hergert St. John Board Chair

An update for our patrons on the fire response in Endicott. DNR and Washington State Patrol have mobilized to the Endicott building. The crews have occupied most of the classrooms as well as the auxiliary areas. Last night they had 45 sleeping at the building. The District was also informed of displaced people from Winona. Both school buildings are designated Red Cross shelter sites and the District was put on standby last night. It was later reported all people had found shelter for the night so the Endicott District and Red Cross stayed on standby should the need arise. As of today we are providing support where needed to both WSP and DNR. If you have further questions please contact: Zach Bailey (SJE Cooperative Director of Finance/HR) 509-504-4040 or zbailey@sjeschools.org
