Silverwood Read 2 Ride is back for 2025! This reading program starts this week and ends Friday, March 28. Students in grades Preschool-6th grades can participate. Students who read 10 hours before March 28 receive a Silverwood ticket. Reading forms are going out this week. Join us for some holiday hoops! This Saturday, come cheer on your Saint John Eagles as they take on the Waitsburg Cardinals. You won't want to miss the SJEL cheerleaders' festive halftime performance during the girls' game. Be sure to cheer loudly, because they will also be spreading holiday cheer by handing out sweet treats and decals throughout the games.
You can test your basketball skills with the cheerleaders' pop-shot challenge. Plus, we'll be announcing the winners of the FFA cake raffle during the boys' halftime show.
So, grab your family and friends and come on down to the game! Let's make it a night to remember!

THE EAGLES MINI CHEER CAMP (PreK-5th) 🦅📣🏀
Practices will be held: Monday, January 13th Wednesday, January 15th And Thursday, January 16th From 4pm-5:15pm in the St. John School Multipurpose Room.
Performance will be Saturday, January 18th during the halftime of the Boy's Varsity home game in St. John.
The game begins at 5:30pm, and the Eagles Cheer team will meet the Mini Cheerleaders on the stage at the beginning of the 2nd quarter.
The Cost for camp is: $15 per Mini Cheerleader without a new shirt $30 with a new shirt If you would not like to purchase a camp shirt, we ask that Mini Cheerleaders be dressed in RED to show their school spirit!
Completed forms are due with payment to the school office on or before Tuesday, January 7th Please Complete the attached form and return to the front office with payment. (Forms are also being sent home with students)
