An update for our patrons on the fire response in Endicott. DNR and Washington State Patrol have mobilized to the Endicott building. The crews have occupied most of the classrooms as well as the auxiliary areas. Last night they had 45 sleeping at the building. The District was also informed of displaced people from Winona. Both school buildings are designated Red Cross shelter sites and the District was put on standby last night. It was later reported all people had found shelter for the night so the Endicott District and Red Cross stayed on standby should the need arise. As of today we are providing support where needed to both WSP and DNR. Whitman County Fall Health Clinic will be in Endicott August 19 from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM. This event is FREE. They will provide Sports Physicals, Head-to-Toe checkups including vision screenings, growth checks, etc. Information about food programs and other resources in our community will also be available.
