End-of-Year Field Trip to Klemgard Park
Endicott School District Wildcats | K-5 Students
What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of another fantastic school year! Our Endicott Wildcats in grades K-5 enjoyed a memorable day at Klemgard County Park in Colfax, Washington, for our annual end-of-year field trip.
A Perfect Day in Nature
Nestled in a forested canyon in the Union Flat area, Klemgard Park provided the ideal setting for our young Wildcats to explore, play, and connect with nature. The 59-acre park offered plenty of space for our students to spread out and enjoy the beautiful Pacific Northwest scenery.
Activities & Highlights
Picnic Fun
Students gathered at the park's picnic shelters to enjoy lunch together, sharing stories and laughter with classmates and teachers. The open grass fields provided ample room for games and activities, with plenty of energy and excitement all around.
Nature Trail Adventure
Our students embarked on the park's 0.75-mile trail that winds across Union Flat Creek and through shady hillsides. The short hike was perfect for all grade levels, allowing our youngest learners to experience the joy of outdoor exploration while our older students practiced their observation skills, spotting birds and identifying plants along the way.
Playground & Free Play
The park's playground was a hit with students of all ages, offering a chance to climb, swing, and play in the fresh air. The peaceful, forested surroundings—framed by farmland—created a safe and inviting atmosphere for everyone to relax and enjoy.
A Day to Remember
This field trip was more than just a fun outing—it was an opportunity for our Wildcats to build friendships, appreciate the natural beauty of our region, and create lasting memories as we closed out another successful school year. Thank you to all the teachers, staff, and parent volunteers who made this day possible!
Go Wildcats!

The Endicott School District Pre-School recently experienced an exciting hands-on science adventure—hatching baby chicks right in the classroom! As part of a learning unit on life cycles and animals, students carefully observed eggs in an incubator, eagerly counting down the days until the big moment.
When the first tiny cracks appeared, the classroom buzzed with excitement. Soon, fluffy yellow chicks emerged, chirping and exploring their new world. Students learned about how chicks grow inside the egg, what they need to stay healthy, and how to care for living creatures with kindness and responsibility.
This project brought science to life in a memorable way, sparking curiosity and wonder in every student. The preschoolers loved watching their chicks grow and change each day, and the experience created lasting lessons about nature, patience, and care.
The Endicott Wildcats are proud of their youngest learners for their enthusiasm and curiosity—what an egg-cellent adventure!

Let’s not lose our humanity in this process.
This is a beautiful community filled with incredible students, families, educators, and staff, and the actions of one individual outside of the school setting do not define the heart of who we are.
There are real lives hurting behind all of this, and the weight of it reaches far beyond what people see online or read in headlines. This impact is being felt by students, families, friends, coworkers, teammates, and an entire community trying to process something deeply painful and difficult.
As educators, please know this with absolute certainty: our students are, and always will be, our number one priority. We protect, support, guide, and care for children every single day with everything we have in us. The educators and staff within this district show up daily with integrity, compassion, empathy, and a deep commitment to the well-being of our students.
There are unfortunately moments in life where individuals make devastating choices that create ripple effects far beyond themselves. Those choices hurt people, families, and communities in ways words cannot fully explain. While schools work tirelessly to create safe, supportive environments for children, we cannot control every decision made outside of our doors, and that reality is heartbreaking for all of us.
To those directly impacted by this situation, please know this community cares deeply about you. You are loved, supported, and not alone. We also ask others to remember that healing does not come from speculation, cruelty, insults, or sensationalism. We cannot become so focused on the “story” that we lose our empathy, compassion, and humanity toward the real people living through it.
Our students are watching how adults respond during difficult moments. Our own children are reading comments, hearing conversations, and carrying emotions they may not fully understand yet. Words matter. How we choose to respond matters.
As this situation continues to unfold, we ask for grace, empathy, and respect, not only for those directly impacted, but for the many students, staff members, and families trying to move through this with strength and compassion.
In St. John, we will continue doing what we have always done: loving our students fiercely, supporting one another, showing up for kids, and leading with heart even in the hardest moments.
We cannot always control what others do, but we can control how we respond. And here, we choose empathy, support, accountability, and humanity.

Happy Mothers Day!! on Sunday From the Staff at Endicott School District.

This week is about celebrating the incredible people who pour into our kids every single day… and in our small, connected communities, that truly means *all* of us. Because here, everyone teaches. Everyone impacts. Everyone matters.
To our teachers—you are the heart of the classroom. The way you show up with passion, patience, creativity, and belief in every student is something that cannot be measured. You meet kids where they are, push them to grow, and remind them daily that they are capable of more than they sometimes see in themselves.
To our paraprofessionals—you are the steady presence, the extra layer of support, the quiet strength behind so many student successes. You step in, step up, and make sure no child falls through the cracks. Your impact is powerful and deeply felt.
To our office staff—you are often the first smile, the calm in the chaos, the problem-solvers behind the scenes who keep everything moving forward. You set the tone for our building and create a space where students and families feel welcomed, safe, and cared for.
To our custodial and maintenance team—you create the environment where learning can happen. Your work may happen behind the scenes, but it is seen in every clean space, every prepared classroom, every detail that allows our school to function with pride.
To our kitchen staff—you do so much more than feed students. You greet them, you notice them, you care for them. For many of our kids, you are a consistent and comforting part of their day.
To our transportation team—you are the first and last connection to school each day. You ensure our students arrive safely, and you do it with care, responsibility, and commitment.
To our counselors and support staff—you carry so much. You listen, guide, support, and advocate for our students in ways that truly change lives. You help them navigate not just school, but life.
And to every coach, advisor, and volunteer—you extend learning beyond the classroom. You build confidence, teamwork, resilience, and belonging.
In St. John-Endicott, we are more than school's—we are family, a team, communities that believe deeply in our kids and in each other. The heart, empathy, flexibility, and dedication we see across our staff every day is something special. It is something you don’t find just anywhere.
Thank you for the long hours, the unseen moments, the patience, the grace, the laughter, the problem-solving, the second chances, and the unwavering belief in our students.
Our kids are better because of all of you. Our school's are stronger because of all of you. Our communities are brighter because of all of you.
This week, and every week, we celebrate you. 💛❤️

Today, the entire Wildcats family comes together to celebrate a leader who is so much more than a principal — she is the heart of our school. Every morning greeting, every encouraging word, every late night spent making our school a better place… we see it all, and we are so grateful.
Principal Jeffries, your unwavering dedication, compassionate leadership, and genuine love for every student and staff member make our school truly special. You inspire us to be our best, and our community is stronger, kinder, and brighter because of you.
From the bottom of our hearts —
Thank You! 💛
