St. John Community,
The St. John School Board wants to extend a wholehearted welcome to our new Superintendent/Principal Tina Strong. We are excited to have her join our community and lead our district toward continued excellence.
Tina's background in education, along with her commitment to every student and focus on school pride aligns perfectly with our vision of the future. We believe that her leadership will inspire our staff, engage and build trust within our students while strengthening our partnership with families in the St. John Endicott communities.
As Tina embarks on this new journey with us, please know that she has the full support of the Board. The Board asks for the community to do the same. We are eager to collaborate with her and are confident that together, we can achieve great things for our students.
The Board has encouraged her to take the time to get to know our community, the faculty and the students. We look forward to witnessing the positive impact Tina will undoubtedly have on our school.
Thank you,
Micah Armstrong, Board Chair

St. John School District Superintendent/Principal Update:
Board Selects Three Finalists, Invites the Community to Weigh In
Dear St. John Students, Parents, and Community Members,
We are pleased to announce that the St. John School District Superintendent/Principal Search and Selection Process has reached an important milestone. Following the completion of the application deadline, screening, and reference checks, the St. John Board of Directors has selected three finalists who will advance to the final round of interviews. The three selected finalists are Tina Strong, Guinevere Joyce, and Rick (Beau) Winters.
The final round of interviews will take place on April 4th. Throughout the day, each finalist will participate in meetings with various stakeholder groups. The process will conclude with a Superintendent/Principal Finalists Community Forum at 5:45 to 6:45 in the cafeteria. This forum will provide an opportunity for community members to hear each finalist respond to a series of pre-selected questions relevant to our community, schools, and current educational trends.
Attendees will be asked to provide written feedback immediately following the forum. The input received during this session will play a key role in helping the Board make its final decision.
We encourage all community members to attend and participate in this important process. Thank you for your continued support in selecting the next leader of our school district.

The St. John School District Board of Directors will be meeting at 7:00 pm on Friday, April 4th at the school. The board will be going into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing the finalists for the Superintendent-Principal’s position. No formal action will be taken during the Executive Session.
Prior to the meeting, the board will be in the building throughout the day as interviews for the Super-Pal position are underway.
As part of the interview process, the community is welcome to meet the candidates. The community session will be from 5:45 to 6:45 in the evening.

This week, Saint John's third-grade scientists plunged into the fascinating world of watersheds with a dynamic visit from Miss Marnie of the Washington Department of Ecology! Using a captivating enviroscape model, students became environmental detectives, uncovering how pollutants impact our precious water resources and the wildlife that depend on them. This hands-on adventure is a vital part of their ongoing 'Trout in the Classroom' journey.
