The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the Head Coach to support and develop student-athletes, promote teamwork and sportsmanship, and help foster a positive and competitive program culture.
QUALIFICATION OVERVIEW:
• Prior basketball coaching or playing experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively with student-athletes, coaching staff, and parents
• Must meet WIAA and district coaching requirements
• Must hold or be able to obtain a valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Successful passage of fingerprinting process and background checks

🎁 SJE NHS Giving Tree 2025 🎁
Dear St. John and Endicott Families,
The National Honor Society has been established to recognize and encourage academic achievement, while developing the ideals of character, service, and leadership. This year the St. John-Endicott Eagle Chapter of the National Honor Society has once again chosen The Giving Tree as a service project this holiday season.
The purpose of The Giving Tree is to ensure that families in St. John and Endicott have a wonderful holiday season. Those who participate will have their request for gifts listed on a tag and hung on The Giving Trees at locations in St. John and Endicott. All personal information is
kept confidential and only seen by authorized school personnel. Only the request will appear on the tag (for example, GIRL - SIZE 7 TENNIS SHOES).
IMPORTANT DATES FOR THE GIVING TREE:
● 10/29-11/14/2025: Please submit your requests for you and your family members.
● 11/14-11/21/2025: Requests will be processed.
● 11/25-12/8/2025: Trees will be placed in the following locations: Empire Foods (Marilyn’s), St. John School, Endicott School and Endicott Food Center
● 12/8/2025: Gifts Due to the respective schools.
● 12/8-12/15/2025: Processing and organizing gift packages.
● 12/15-12/19/2025: Gift Pick Up
The National Honor Society will collect and process these gifts for distribution before the winter holiday break. If you feel that you need a little extra help this holiday season and would like to participate in The Giving Tree, please fill out the attached form, and return it to Angie Shields or Rob Case at St. John High School, or Tricia Jeffries at Endicott school as soon as possible. These forms are also available in the St. John and Endicott school offices. Forms will be accepted until November 14, 2025. All participating families will be contacted to pick up their gifts before the holiday break.

The St. John School District is seeking applications from residents who are passionate about supporting our schools and the future of our students. The District will appoint community members to write the “For” and “Against” statements for the Whitman and Spokane Counties Local Voters’ Pamphlets related to the following ballot measures to be considered at the February 10, 2026 Special Election:
1. Educational Programs and Operations (EP&O) Replacement Levy
2. Replacement Capital Levy for Health, Safety, and Facility Improvements
These levy renewals represent the ongoing partnership between our community and our school — ensuring that when students leave St. John, they do so feeling empowered, confident, and ready to contribute back to the place they call home.
