Statement from St. John School District
At this time, St. John School District is aware of allegations involving a district employee that are currently being reviewed by law enforcement. The employee has been placed on leave and will not be on campus during this process. The District is cooperating fully with the appropriate authorities and will also be conducting its own investigation into the allegations. Out of respect for the integrity of the ongoing investigations, student privacy, and legal considerations, the District will not be providing additional details or engaging in speculation at this time. Our priority continues to be the safety, well-being, and support of our students and school community. We understand situations like this can create concern, questions, and emotions throughout a small community, and we ask that everyone approach this matter with care and respect while the appropriate process unfolds. We also expect staff to continue maintaining the highest level of professionalism during this time.
Should additional verified information become available that the District is able to share, we will communicate further at the appropriate time.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Please join us in congratulating Catalina Torres Rodriguez and Jenn Johnson on this well-deserved recognition. These two represent the very best of our school, our community, and the heart behind what it means to be an Eagle. 🦅
Catalina Torres Rodriguez was recognized with the Student Leadership Award, and there could not be a more deserving recipient. Catalina has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout all four years of high school while continuing to lead with humility, empathy, resilience, and strength. She is a fierce advocate for others, someone who sees the good in people, supports those around her, and carries herself with kindness and grace. Catalina honors her family, her school, and her community in everything she does. Her courage, determination, leadership, and heart make a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her. She has big dreams ahead of her, and we cannot wait to watch her soar. ✨
Jenn Johnson was recognized with the Certificate of Merit for the incredible impact she has made on students and our school community. Jenn pours her heart into everything she does as an educator, coach, mentor, advisor, and leader. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure students feel supported, valued, encouraged, and cared for. Whether she is teaching in the classroom, coaching on the court, volunteering her time, organizing events, or simply showing up for kids when they need someone most, Jenn leads with selflessness, compassion, and unwavering dedication. Her impact reaches far beyond academics, and our students are better because of her. ❤️
Awards like these are about more than accomplishments. They recognize character, heart, leadership, resilience, service, and the lasting impact individuals make on the people around them. Catalina and Jenn embody all of those things beautifully.
St. John-Endicott is incredibly proud of both of you. Thank you for representing our community with such excellence, integrity, and heart. 💛❤️

This week is about celebrating the incredible people who pour into our kids every single day… and in our small, connected communities, that truly means *all* of us. Because here, everyone teaches. Everyone impacts. Everyone matters.
To our teachers—you are the heart of the classroom. The way you show up with passion, patience, creativity, and belief in every student is something that cannot be measured. You meet kids where they are, push them to grow, and remind them daily that they are capable of more than they sometimes see in themselves.
To our paraprofessionals—you are the steady presence, the extra layer of support, the quiet strength behind so many student successes. You step in, step up, and make sure no child falls through the cracks. Your impact is powerful and deeply felt.
To our office staff—you are often the first smile, the calm in the chaos, the problem-solvers behind the scenes who keep everything moving forward. You set the tone for our building and create a space where students and families feel welcomed, safe, and cared for.
To our custodial and maintenance team—you create the environment where learning can happen. Your work may happen behind the scenes, but it is seen in every clean space, every prepared classroom, every detail that allows our school to function with pride.
To our kitchen staff—you do so much more than feed students. You greet them, you notice them, you care for them. For many of our kids, you are a consistent and comforting part of their day.
To our transportation team—you are the first and last connection to school each day. You ensure our students arrive safely, and you do it with care, responsibility, and commitment.
To our counselors and support staff—you carry so much. You listen, guide, support, and advocate for our students in ways that truly change lives. You help them navigate not just school, but life.
And to every coach, advisor, and volunteer—you extend learning beyond the classroom. You build confidence, teamwork, resilience, and belonging.
In St. John-Endicott, we are more than school's—we are family, a team, communities that believe deeply in our kids and in each other. The heart, empathy, flexibility, and dedication we see across our staff every day is something special. It is something you don’t find just anywhere.
Thank you for the long hours, the unseen moments, the patience, the grace, the laughter, the problem-solving, the second chances, and the unwavering belief in our students.
Our kids are better because of all of you. Our school's are stronger because of all of you. Our communities are brighter because of all of you.
This week, and every week, we celebrate you. 💛❤️

With only a month left before graduation, I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible young people you are and all that is ahead of you. You are standing at the edge of something beautiful... a brand new chapter filled with possibility, growth, adventure, and dreams waiting to be chased. While the future may feel exciting, uncertain, or even a little overwhelming at times, please remember this: you are more ready than you realize.
Carry courage with you when life asks you to be brave.
Carry kindness with you in a world that always needs more of it.
Carry passion for the things that light your soul on fire.

There will be moments when life challenges you, but there will also be moments that leave you speechless in the best ways. Keep believing in yourself through all of it.
Please know this community is proud of you. We have watched you grow, overcome, learn, and become who you are today. You are talented, capable, strong, and full of potential. You deserve every beautiful thing this world has to offer.
