Silverwood’s Reading Program begins this week! Read 10 hours and earn a free ticket to Silverwood! St. John Elementary students in P-5, please look for the reading forms in your backpacks later this week. Forms must be returned by March 28th and be signed by a parent or guardian. St. John School District is seeking applications from residents of the District interested in being appointed to a committee to write the for/against statements for the Whitman and Spokane Counties Local Voters’ Pamphlets related to the District’s following ballot measures to be considered at the February 13, 2024 special election: (1) Educational Programs and Operation Replacement Levy and (2) Replacement Capital Levy For Health, Safety and Facilities Improvements. Interested residents should send their name, address, phone number, email address and which position they represent to Mark Jacobson, Superintendent, St. John School District, 301 W. Nob Hill Rd, St. John, WA 99171 or via email at mjacobson@sjeschools.org by November 26, 2023. The Board will take action on the appointments at its November 27, 2023 regular board meeting.
