QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have an appropriate education degree (School Counselor Endorsement is required)
- Must have or be eligible for a Washington State teaching certificate.
- Must have successful school counseling or internship experience.
- Extracurricular opportunities are available for interested/qualified applicants.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Counsel students with social, emotional and family issues
- Assist with student conflict resolution
- Provide input regarding master schedule
- Maintain student records (including attendance)
- Attend IEP meetings when necessary
- District assessment coordinator (WASL, PSAT, SAT, ACT, A.P., etc.)
- Manage running start program
- Provide college and scholarship guidance
- Co-teach money management/careers class
- Other duties as assigned

SALARY: Washington State Teachers' Salary Schedule + 5 additional days
